Formally trained as a couple and family therapist, I've treated hundreds of individuals, families, and couples over 15 years. I work with teens and adults navigating trauma and PTSD, loss, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. TRAUMA AND PTSD I am one of the few providers in the area who is not only trained but certified in two of the most highly regarded trauma treatments: EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My approach is individualized to the type of trauma you've experienced, your current symptoms, and what you need to feel safe enough to begin doing meaningful therapeutic work. PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) and have extensive experience supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility, reproductive decisions, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the postpartum period. COUPLES I offer a structured, results-driven model: Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT). I trained with the developer and completed a rigorous consultation program to ensure the highest level of care. This is not your typical talk therapy—IBCT provides a clear, focused framework for navigating conflict and deepening connection. I work with couples experiencing recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, communication difficulties, resentment, major life changes, and infidelity recovery. VETERANS & MILITARY FAMILIES I have a special interest in working with Veterans and military families, having had the distinct honor of treating patients within the VA health care system for over a decade. I understand the unique experiences that can accompany military service, deployment, reintegration, relationships, trauma, and major transitions. MY APPROACH I take pride in my ability to integrate compassionate care with straightforward feedback, planning, and execution. This is rooted in advanced, evidence-based training, and the understanding that treatment outcomes are highly influenced by the therapeutic relationship.
